The popular war strategy RPG from Elex Wireless, Clash of Kings, has launched an event to celebrate International Children’s Day on June 1st. This event and the update that comes with it follow the recent release of Clash of Kings: The West, a spinoff of the original that features western civilizations and warring countries.

To celebrate International Children’s day, there will be a special Children’s day check-in from June 1st. There will be an in-game Children’s Carnival, and players are encouraged to log in every day for the remainder of the event to collect special gifts.

As with many of the events released on COK, this event also coincides with the release of a new update. Version 7.41 of Clash of Kings goes global alongside the event. Although the developers have not expanded on everything, the recent update includes, we were able to get a bit of information from their official Facebook page.

COK update 7.41 will show improvements to the Military Rank System. The military rank skills Ancient Might and Ancient Soldier attributes will now take effect in the ‘Battle of Shadow Island’ battlefield. This ranking system is a great way to earn buffs, special items, and unique skills just for battling. Every attack you make goes towards earning points in your military rank. It’s fantastic that these attributes are now available on the battlefield so that players can earn even more points.

Update 7.41 also includes new chapters in the Book of Summer. The first new chapter is titled ‘Chapter of Midsummer,’ and the second new one is titled ‘Chapter of Sun.’ But other than the chapter titles, we don’t yet know what these new chapters entail.

The event and update launch on June 1st, so make sure to check in and earn your gifts and experience the new features. If you’re looking for a game that’s similar but with less of a storyline that’s ideal for casual playing, why not read our Clash Mini review?

Born and raised in South Africa I am the mother of two busy kids and one loving husband. Since leaving school I immediately started working and have been involved in many different industries where I learned a wide range of skills. Some of my skills range from marketing to management and even teaching special needs children, particularly those with severe developmental delays. I am a self-proclaimed holiday nut, taking any chance I can get to decorate and celebrate major holidays such as Easter, Halloween and Christmas, often planning these months in advance! I have a wide range of passions that I persue (as often as I can) such as reading, writing, bonsai, crafting, creating natural beauty products, listening to music and playing games (prefered platforms being PC and Xbox).
